Mission

Sierra Lamonde is a visual artist who experiments with various art mediums to express her emotions, and advocate for both mental health and human rights. She impacts the lives of individuals, through commissioned work and public art engagements within the community. Sierra currently works in the form of pyrography, where she burns wood of diverse imagery such as portraits, animals, landscapes, cartoons, logos and quotes.
As a commissioned artist, I enjoy adjusting to the needs of my clients. My ability to be a multi-faceted artist empowers me to be flexible and appeal to a variety of people. I work in several different mediums, however, my current practice, focuses on the art of pyrography. And with this fiery craft, I generate custom-made, authentic styles of work. "A commission is a conversation and a collaboration", states Jason Arkles, that I exude when working closely with clients. Thus, as a result, their desired imagery and/or text transcends into an unexpected, unique piece of work with breath taking outcomes.
“Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing.” Georgia O’Keeffe
